Transport of micro‐polar fluids in an exponentially diverging tube by means of peristaltic waves of dilating amplitude

چکیده
The paper models a peristaltically driven flow when the cross section of tube changes exponentially. This may resemble shape oesophagus it suffers from sliding hiatus hernia, that is, abdomen protrudes through hiatus. fluid transported is considered micro-polar while peristaltic waves propagating along wall too dilate Bulging, caused by herniation, in examined considering two different cases: (i) diverging entirely first end to other, and (ii) partly limited other only. Effects dilating amplitude, coupling number parameter are also investigated. Non-linear governing equations linearized method low Reynolds long wavelength approximations computer simulation used estimate numerical results. It observed whether diverges or partly, pressure required for carrying less, hence facilitating easier swallowing, which causes hernia go unnoticed. Exponential divergence geometry makes swallowing than linear divergence. While increases with number, declines micropolar parameter. Reflux region further found shrink once wave amplitude dilates.
